YPT is an adolescent parent education and support program designed collaboratively and specifically for expectant and parenting teens and first-time young parents, and their children. YPT increases knowledge during pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting so that children born to adolescents will have healthier outcomes. This collaborative community project has evolved and improved to meet the needs of children and teen parents for over two decades with community support. YPT utilizes effective curricula to meet various needs of pregnant and parenting adolescents.
